During our stay we visted Lake Placid, went Kyacking and visited Fort Ticonderoga.  In the evening we spent hours in the screened porch.   As much to do in the Winter?” January 2011 --- We had a blast.  Snowshoe, cross country skiing, Whiteface, and even hiked Macomb mountain.   The best part is that every night we had the Red Spruce to return to and share our adventures around the gas log stove. February 2011 --- We loved your lodge, it did exceed our expectations.  The photos on the website don't do it justice!  (you should use a wide angle lens next time)  We had a great time, it snowed a foot on Friday!  The skiing was fantastic.  We also had a great meal at a restaurant in Lake Placid called "Chair 6".  Hopefully we'll be back next year!
